  • “It was our first time visiting here and if we lived in the local area it wouldn't be our last. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. The tables are spaced out so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of one another.

    The waitress was friendly and welcoming. There were plenty of choices on the menu and prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were good and all food was served hot. We didn't have to wait for long for our food to be served, though this may have been because the restaurant was near enough empty. We were both pleased with our meals, they were tasty and had a good amount of sauce. The desserts were also of a good size and also tasted very nice.

    What made me like this restaurant even more was that they were playing Abba songs most of the night.”

  • “This was my first visit to Fratelli II and I left well satisfied with the experience. As sufferers of Coeliac Disease my wife and I require gluten free food and the restaurant was able to accommodate us (albeit without the option of a pizza).

    We both had the Caprese starter, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Pollo Funghi - whilst my wife tucked into the Pork Saltimbocca.

    There is a good choice of liquid refreshment including an extensive (Italian) wine list. A shared dessert and a couple of coffees finished the evening.

    The restaurant is nicely furnished and (on a Wednesday) was quite full, with a pleasant atmosphere. The service had been attentive and helpful. I look forward to a return visit.”
